For almost 20 years, Grandview has been building a reputation for providing exceptional service and stunning landscapes. Grandview’s humble beginnings started when owner William Hazen began mowing his neighbor’s lawn while they were on vacation. Upon his return, the neighbor hired Bill full-time to continue to mow his lawn and he was “officially” in the landscaping business. He soon acquired additional clients in the neighborhood, and within a few years, Bill’s new business began growing steadily.

As his business grew, Bill started to offer hardscaping installation in addition to its landscaping services. Just one year later, snow plowing services were added, which lead the company to purchase additional trucks and equipment to meet their growing needs. To meet the increasing requests of Grandview’s clients, Bill started a Nursery Business and created additional construction crews for the landscaping and masonry divisions.

Grandview continued to expand its fleet of vehicles and equipment, as well as its staff, including hiring a full-time landscape designer. The company’s constant growth has been achieved by continued education of Grandview’s staff, including his design team today, composed of a wide range of backgrounds and specialties including a degree in Landscape Architecture.

Grandview has come a long way since Bill’s modest beginnings maintaining lawns, and continues to stay humble through his constant involvement with his community from his days as a volunteer fire fighter to the variety of charitable causes he lends his company’s time and resources too today. Grandview now offers a wide selection of landscaping services, masonry construction, landscape lighting and holiday lighting, pool design and installation, and snow plowing, servicing both residential and commercial clients. Considered one of the fasted growing and comprehensive landscape and masonry service companies in northern and central New Jersey, Grandview has earned a reputation over the years for outstanding design, quality workmanship and superior service.
